Julie is a RARE FIND. She is one of the few honest, talented, hard working people left out there. I called her looking for help for a small dinner party i was hosting at an Airbnb in Oxnard. I wasn’t sure what I exactly needed or wanted, within minutes she helped me figure everything out. Julie was on it, making phone calls and setting things up. Since I’m not a local and I was not fully aware the potential my dinner could have, until Julie. Not only did she help me arrange things, like after hours service at Hoper Boat Rentals, she gave me amazing unique ideas. Julie truly listened to me to best understand what I was looking for. After about a week of planning, Julie did something very few people would do, she told me I didn't need to hire her for the full event, lets do a consultation & Styling instead. I had everything I needed. See, my dinner was small and simple, intimate, not an event. I was impressed and taken back by her honesty. Sure, she could’ve over charged me and taken my money, but that’s NOT Julie! She is honest and talented hard worker, a ‘RARE FIND.’ If you want a good, honest person with an amazing eye for detail she is it!

I've been surfing for 40 years and always considered SUPs as being for old men. However, having become an old man I had the rude discovery that it's not the same as prone surfing. Julie straightened me out in no time and saved me hours of splashing around in the water. She also let me try wind surf and wing boards at Mondo's Beach, Channel Island Harbor and Ventura Harbor. She has everything I need to try different Wing Foils before buying and she's a great SUP teacher.
